Yea, we were pulling the cat on that for scrap. we did the same thing and pulled the entire drive train from an 84 camaro in 45 mins.

it had a 3.1 in it that threw a rod cause the guy never changed the oil and ran it like that for a few thousand miles. I got some cross over parts that put the 3.4 closer to being done that I expected. Don't feel too bad we used parts from it to fix his girlfriends Z34 and the front end went to another euro that was in an accident

Yea....gotta love the durability of the 60*. I drove my '85 Camaro 2.8 with the #4 rod bouncing on the crank for 6 months. Sounded horrid, but it still ran great up until the last week when oil pressure finally plummeted and the whole motor started coming apart. I was 17/18 at the time, so you know I wasn't exactly "gentle" with it.

you'd cry if you saw the pile of T-Tops from the cars my buddy junked over the past few years, I think theres 11 sets
