Slow cars are crap....

My LT1 is slow..... and sad......

So, just ordered Pacesetter coated long tube headers and a magnaflow catback. I just gotta get cats and it will be a happier car :)

My LT1 would be destroyed by my v6..... w/o nitrous....

nice, it ought to sound alot better and wake it up!

GP99GT 03-14-2008 03:31 PM

so much for leaving it mostly stock

maroman88 03-14-2008 05:46 PM

yay for mods :)

deadtrend1 03-14-2008 05:56 PM

no Ory? LOL

you keeping the EGR and air?
96= obd2 = check engine light when air removed ...

LT4 knock module helps a lot, especially with headers. Reduces the false knock big time. 96 might be one of the tougher years due to first year of OBDII.

Mostly stock ;)

Intake, exhaust and suspension are fiar game :)

I'm keeping EGR and AIR

As for LT4 knock module..... hmmmmmm.... they are pretty cheap.... I think I'll have to add that to the list, thanks!

congrats on your octopus headers :)

LT4 KM helped a lot. Intake, MAF, TB, plugs, wires will also wake it up and get you better throttle response.

I agree, but then you have the people that will always cry "Its a waste of money, you dont need a MAF or bigger TB, they can support 500hp!! waaahhhhhhhhhhh"

jims69camaro 03-17-2008 12:01 PM

and the LT4 hot cam with springs...

I've heard people say that, but I put all that in mine and noticed a difference.
