What trans do i have?
 
1992 4x4 K1500 Blazer with a 350, is it a 700r4 or a 4L60? Arent they pretty much the same trans?

If it's a 4spd auto, it's a 4L60, which is just what they called the standard 700R4 from 90-93. In 94 it got electronics and became the 4L60e.

Yep. Just like the TH400 is referred to as the "3L80" for 3 speed, longitudinally mounted, and then a "strength rating".
