D@m, I'm already tired of mowing the lawn!

I think today was the 5th time I've had to mow the back yard already and it's so thick it takes longer than in the middle of the summer. I might need to consider getting a lawn tractor soon! The boat's already in the water for the season and I think I've played golf at least 20-25 times since Xmas. I'm gonna be wiped out by time the nice weather arrives!

How big is your property?

Haven't done ours yet. Will probably need it next weekend. Lawn tractor FTW!

It's a normal size lot, nothing big. But the grass is so thick that mowing with a 22" pushmower is taking too long. My front yard is just starting to grow now but it's pretty thin under the trees so it's not as bad as the back. I had put down the winterizer fertilizer in Nov and I can tell you that stuff keeps the grass growing all winter and gives it a jump start in the spring!

I have yet to mow my lawn yet.

I put down Scotts Stage 1 a week or two ago but haven't mowed yet. Definately need to break out the trimmer though and whack the weeds away from the side of the house.

It's growing fast again! You can see the lighter yellowish areas that are the patches of grass seed I put down in late October and it kept growing all winter. Those areas were about a foot tall 4 weeks ago when I started mowing.
