Engine Detailing? And Painting?

Anyone got pictures of a decent engine detailing of there LS1 Engines? I really need to paint and clean my engine bay up to compete better at the shows. I would like some ideas so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yeah it definately makes it easier if the engine gets removed. Maybe next year I will be able to do that.

What color would you repaint certain areas of the engine bay. The stock color was flat black and I have rust in some areas formed in areas above the radiator, and the headlight assembly. Would you paint them flat black again, or Semi Gloss or Glossy black? What are your takes?
