Max lift on stock head

Anybody know where I can find out what the max lift on a 462624 head is? I read on one site .560 but that sounds way to much I thought it was more around .480-.490 and I would need better springs as well correct?

if you're going for max lift, springs are a must

Bubba,

Read this and check around:

From what I remember (and this is consistent with what I'm finding) those 624 heads are pretty crack prone... you might want to re-think building up a set.

thats what seems to be the general consensus on them. I wouldn't doubt mine are cracked.

What valve size do you have, anyway? If they are the 1.72/1.50's then you pretty much know what to do.

i think they are the 1.94s but as far as I'm concerned I want no less than a 2.02...2.08 is what I really want. But it all depends on the $$$
