I finally got the Firebird off the jack stands. I have to make a few shake down runs down the back roads and i'll be going to Atco either Tuesday or Friday night. Are there going to be any NJFBOA members there those nights?

ill be there Tuesday for my money race against that 04 GTO :)

First run!
 

I went to Atco last night 4/29 and made my first run with the Firebird. 15.8 at 86 with a 2.1 60 foot. I violated my own rule by not being faster than my truck that towed it there. Then i found out the right front brake was hanging up so I can get more out of it. I'll go over the front brakes this week and i'll be back at Atco 5/6 to try and do better.
There was hardly anyone there at the track last night. The gamblers were done by 9 and after that the few street racers that were left were pretty much hot lapping. I only made three passes and trailered it because of the brakes but if everything was fine with my car I could have easily made about 7 or 8 passes or more last night.
