In car cam swap...?

Yeah it seems like a real PITA. I want to change the cam in my truck because there jerk off that had it before me put a cam in it that hits in around 2300rpms... Go figure. Truck low torque common sense for most not for this guy.

So I'm looking to swap it out for a lunati voodoo 60101lk. Has anyone ever done it with the motor in the car/truck?

Yes... and I'm doing it for the second time presently in my 00 Formula. Never done one in a truck but I can't imagine there is LESS space than in an f-body...

Done it in my thirdgen. My best advice is to remove the radiator and condensor if you have AC to free up some space infront of the car and be careful not to nick the cam bearings.

Think Ill need to drill a hole in my rad mount?

what kind of truck?

So much easier doing a full roller + LT1 Cam swap in my buddies 91 1500 then 3rd gen f bodies.

Did one in my V8 G Body... was rather easy.

Yea, with the radiator and condensor (if you have one) out of the way, you should have plenty of room.
