Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm hoping to get another one or two wheels done today before we go out. If I get one side completed, I'll take a profile shot. Can't wait to see how they look!

FBODS4EVER 05-25-2008 10:49 AM

high quality look... nice job

Looks MUCH better then the solid BLACK look. It has a factory finish and looks like a wheel that might have come on the car. Now finish it off with CHROME lug nuts and maybe even detail the calipers and other brake parts that might show threw the spokes. Also wax the finish on the wheels(when it completely dries)to protect it from the brake dust sticking to it.

Thanks for the tips! I have a set of McGard chrome lugs, and the brake parts are detailed. The rear drums are bead-blasted aluminum, and I also painted the hats on the front rotors silver and the calipers up front are red.

I got one side done yesterday, so when I get the car outta the garage later to start working on the other two wheels I'll snap a pic and post it. :)

Thanks again for the compliments guys!

Hehehehe, I know. Yesterday turned out to be a ROUGH day. I wound up doing a bunch of stuff on the house; cleaned the gutter on my shed, uncovered the AC units on the house, cleaned the helicopter-thingys off my walkway and driveway, cleaned the basement windows, and did oil changes on my Cherokee and my wife's '03 Liberty. By the end of the day, this was the only pic I could take, and since the sun is setting and directly on the rims, it doesn't really look as dark as it does in the shade. But, tell me what you think!
