Detailed 07 Acura TSX and 07 Suburban

I detailed this acura last sunday for a friend of a member here It was a full detail interior and exterior but i didnt get as many pictures as i would have liked due to time constraints. But it will give you a good idea of what a 2 stage polish will do to remove swirls and brighten up a pretty well kept cars paint the difference is pretty noticeable and will probably be about the same on everyones well kept car if it has never been machine polished. All before pictures were taken after the wash exept the first one.

*EDIT* and before those of you with sharp eyes notice the little flecks are blue metallic flakes in the paint or maybe dust/ pollen as its impossible to keep a black car completely clean outside for 5 minutes right now

The suburban belongs to my mother I just cleaned it up real quick with a all in one product to remove some light swirls and clean the paint sorry no before pics but it really wasnt bad at all as it doesnt get driven much and is garage kept. Anyway onto the pics as always comments are greatly apperiated.

Ummm as in its nice to never have to worry about getting scratched or dinged. I'd go nuts if I had a car or truck with a nice paint job.

Mike 05-29-2008 10:28 PM

ok, but why clutter his thread?

r0nin89 05-30-2008 11:53 PM

Why clutter it more by replying to my post twice? Sorry didnt realise there was a fee for advertised space in this thread. I'll report to you next time before I post.

rich is a sponsor whos buisiness is detailing cars, so these before and after threads are like advertised space....you post somthing completely off topic and irrelevant to the thread.

this thread is about detailing and nice paintwork, who the hell cares about your rattlecan truck?

sweetbmxrider 05-31-2008 04:59 PM

cbr, you really need to relax sometimes.
Rich, any tips on removing sap from paint? i have tried sprayin it with a self serve carwash pressure hose with no results...

Mike 05-31-2008 05:32 PM

Any clay bar should work fine even the otc ones like meguires etc sell. If it doesnt come right off using quick detailer as lube use an otc bug and tar remover ( i dont use otc anything anymore so i couldnt tell you which one is good) let it soak for 2-3 minutes then spray another coat of bug and tar remover and use it like clay lube on the stubborn spots.

sweetbmxrider 06-01-2008 10:35 AM

alright thanks ill go do some shoppin

Public forums = public comments there smart one. I've complimented him on his work before check some other threads.

Next time you want to start swinging your big internet stick maybe you should think before opening your mouth. I mean perhaps my comments was simply commentary about how I'm glad that in todays day in age where people dont give a **** about others peoples things I'm happy I dont have paint to worry about. Which would seem to be completely on the topic of paint, scratches and getting them fixed.

But no you were too enthralled playing internet bad ass. Kiss my ass.

BTW rich could you PM me about getting a quote on having CBR's attitude detailed? It needs a lot of work...

To be honest I normally try to stay out of this stuff but.... you come in my thread and make a completely off topic post and then wonder why someone picks on you. I do apperiate comments reguarding my work as some people actually care about how their cars look (for example 3/4 the site) and $20 rattle can paint jobs just dont do it for us unless its a full out drag car or a work in progress. Mike simply pointed out in a not so nice way how stupid and immature your post was and that its getting my thread off topic.

To sum it all up if you wanna talk about rattle can paint jobs start your own thread dont clutter mine with these retarted off topic posts. If you would like to talk about real paint work feel free to ask any questions or comments you have about that.

nice edit, the first time you only posted the first line....then felt like getting funny and adding some fake tough guy stuff.

i am not swinging an internet stick, nor am i an internet tough guy, nice try.

if you "mean perhaps your comments meant" this or that, then say it in the original post instead of posting some off topic retarded incomplete sentence.

I said it in the second one and for the record the edit only included the last line asking for Rich to detail your ass clown internet police attitude.

The topic at hand is about paint work. I dont see how my comment of saying I'm glad I dont need to worry about scratches etc is anywhere off topic. If you dont like it then deal with it. Like I said public forum I dont need your permission.

Dont like it even more tell an admin and cry in your corner because to be quite frank until someone with some authority tells me I did something against the site rules I couldnt give a flying ****. Its people like you that take a forum, and ruin it by trying to make it yours. I paid for my sweatshirt and contributed so congratulations no matter what way you cut it your my equal nothing you say or do will make you any superior.

PS: "I love my rattle can paint job" is a complete sentence go back to grammar school.

Actually mike is a supporting member and im both a supporting member and a sponsor so when you cough up 250 bucks plus a year youll be equal in your contributions. No you didnt do anything against the site rules but the comment you made had nothing to do with the thread which is why mike said something in the first place.

Nobody is trying to take the forum and make it their own they are just trying to teach immature little kids like yourself to post something worth while and not clutter threads with stupid comments just to get your post count up.

Mike 06-02-2008 03:27 PM

the topic is about profesional detailing on 2 cars that have real paintjobs, therefore anything about rattlecans and not caring about real paintjobs is off topic.....

the original poster said he thinks your off topic in his thread but i guess im still wrong.

and about going back to grammer school, once you can spell and punctuate a post, you can tell me to go back to school

Yes sir because let me tell you I added that post in there because that post count going up really gets me off. Alright guys I'm so sorry that I posted outside of your topic. And I guess I really am a super immature little kid who cant spell despite the fact that I see no red lines when I type this up. Now ask yourself, was it really worth your time and aggravation to go at someone on the internet?

The funny part is that despite the fact that I may be 18 ( O jesus I said it, hold it against me all you want ) I am a pretty mature person. I just happen to think its a little ridiculous how snippy people get over the stupidest things especially over something that isnt even theres. Believe me if you had told me to keep the thread right on topic Rich I would have had no problem but it was Mike's snippy ass ummm? and then his need to play forum nazi over a post that isnt even his that perturbed me.

BurninrubberGT 06-02-2008 07:57 PM
