I'm looking into the same swap. Let me know if you come across an extra LT1 block or shortblock.
If you are interested in a T56 let me know.
i got an lt-1 bare block and a crank that need to be clean up

I don't think you need a 93 throttle body. You do need the 93 throttle bracket, so that it has the 700r4 mount. I think the throttle linkage still has the stud for the tv cable for later years. We used a 95 engine and I know we didn't swap the throttle body.
the passenger side LT1 motor mount 'cup' you need if you are using a/c. you can secure the frame mount to the 'cup' and drill new holes in the crossmember to slide the frame mount back. otherwise, you can use a regular SBC motor mount 'cup' and it will bolt back like stock (LT1 block has an extra hole to move the mount back, but the SBC holes are still there. if you keep ac, you need to massage the crossmember or chassis to clear the compressor. you can heat it with a torch and hammer it with a big hammer i believe, or if you are more comfortable, cut a notch out. looks like you have everything else listed right. check pure choice motorsports for the right adapters and hoses to connect to the fuel rail. you will also need to make sure you ahve the right vss for the LT1, check jagsthatrun.com for more info on vss stuff. |
or just put a tubler crossmember in
I think some guys have installed a Corvette's serpentine system, which moves the A/C compressor to the other side. I'd go with the tubluar crossmember myself (If I go with A/C).

i have an lt1 ripped apart let me know what you need
I have a bunch of stock LT1 parts too if you need anything...
