Antenna --NEED LINK

hey guys, I'm looking for a cheap 1994 Camaro short antenna. PLEASE SEND ME A LINK!

ebay is your best bet or search bitviper mod on ls1tech.

Thanks, I just got in touch with Aaron BitViper himself and I'm going to purchase one.

Now I have to choose between a $30 rubber shorty antenna and bidding on a $10 metallic shorty antenna to replace my stocker........hmmmmmmmm

V 07-08-2008 02:13 PM

i got my shorty rubber one at Advance auto for like 14 bucks... now my sky looks like an RC car.... haha

sweetbmxrider 07-08-2008 02:19 PM

i got one off ebay, 8 inches tall and looks like the stock one. i don't use the radio and i hate the stock 4 footer, so it works out

Pampered-Z 07-08-2008 03:23 PM

I just cut mine down so it's even with the roof line: Yank the stock ant. rod out of the nut that screws into the car mount ( might need a visegrip to break it loose), cut off how every many inches you want, put in a drop of JB weld or soider and push the rod back into the nut.

Jam 07-08-2008 07:36 PM

will the antenna reception be as bit weaker after cutting the stocker.

sweetbmxrider 07-08-2008 07:49 PM

ya...

Pampered-Z 07-09-2008 09:24 AM

I haven't noticed any difference.

V 07-09-2008 02:40 PM

signal on my shorter rubber one is just as good.

sweetbmxrider 07-09-2008 03:00 PM

really? my stubby is crap! but i ipod so im cool

ar0ck 07-09-2008 04:56 PM

I've got a BitViper antenna myself and I didn't notice any drop in reception. For a while I wasn't running an antenna at all and I never really had issues.

+1 for BitViper's antenna...

thats hilarious

obviously, we know that BitViper's shorty antenna works great, but we're trying to see what's the cheapest antenna with the best reception. One person mentioned soldering after trimming the 28'' mast. I'll most likely end up purchasing the GM antenna off of eBay

i rechecked the price of mine from advance auto, it was 5.98
