Lots of people rent them for the show. These people have some money, but most of it is on loan from the record company to get started and get thier game up, but they have to pay it back.
Just cause you rap, can hit a home run, dunk a basket ball, run for 200 yards, doesnt make someone who is good with money.

I have heard rumors over the years of celebs renting out houses for mtv cribs as well. Never seen any actual evidence like this, but if that actually goes on, talk about lame :roll:
