Comments on these wheels?
Like the title states Im thinking about getting these for my third gen for street wheels (unless i can pickup some cheap zr1's 10 spokes or irocs for cheap). These will be serving dual purpose until at least my rear and tranny is done next spring and then i will be dropping some coin on bogarts or welds. These are 17x8 american racing torqlite wheels.
Also i dont know if i should paint them black like in the first pic or leave them polished or eventually have them dipped in black chrome. What do you guys think. Sorry i cant find many good pics of them on a third gen maybe somebody could photoshop them on? And finally if anyone else has any wheel suggestions under 600 let me know. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e9...gWheels015.jpg http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/100_2530.jpg http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...nboyd/g282.jpg and these are 18's but you get the idea http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/at...icture-078.jpg |
I like them, they're different than the typical wheels you see. If you do black, I'd also say paint/powdercoat the center caps as well as they are a little distracting polished and leave the lugs chrome.

I think the graphite wheels look the best, But I am biased ;)

I like 'em.
that 76 was a popular hot rodding project car called G/28. |
I also like them , not many of them out there yet.

I've seen those before in Summit catalogs and they certainly have caught my attention before. I've never seen them painted, but that is certainly the route I would go!
