Fast92RS 07-20-2008 06:55 PM

Other than I like it!

WayFast84 07-20-2008 08:42 PM

Do you know if thats a spintech or flowmaster muffler? Im pretty sure I will be going with the same exhaust set up with a 4" and a spintech muffler, right after I pass inspection.

Kat 07-20-2008 08:57 PM

That is a Spintech

WayFast84 07-20-2008 09:08 PM

I don't think I like how it sounds :( I gotta find one in person and hear it.

Jersyboyy 07-20-2008 10:20 PM

More lope would be SWEET but it sounded NASTY I like it and it was pretty cool seeing the camera jerk back.

Kat your car sounds pretty good I love that uber lopey sound.

Tru2Chevy 07-20-2008 10:22 PM

I dunno how true it actually is, but many guys over there claim they have picked up tons of power when ditching the 4" spintech for a dynomax ultraflow 4".

Is that the bullet? I don't want a bullet, But despite my catback being decently quiet with good tone before the 400 SBC, It sounds like a total beast and I love the sound, But would like it to be a little louder, with the same tone. Do you think going from a 2.5 to a 4 inch catback with the same muffler just different sizes change the volume?

Kat 07-21-2008 03:05 AM

Evidence for the spintech's be restrictive.

WayFast84 07-21-2008 09:11 AM

What do you think is less restrictive, the dynomax ultra flow or magnaflow's 4" race muffler?

Probably the race muffler. A 4" race muffler is basically an open pipe with fiberglass around it.

Vid not available...

sweetbmxrider 07-21-2008 12:05 PM

so much to do, such a lack of money :-?

Tru2Chevy 07-21-2008 06:55 PM

No Matt, the Dynomax Ultra Flow isn't a bullet muffler, but it is a straight through design.

http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/ex...n-exhaust.html

I was reading the exhaust board and this might help some one. theres a sound clip of an ultraflow in there and its just what I'm looking for. Give me 5 months and ill be able to get a full exhaust.
