Giants trade Shockey
doesn't surprise me. his back up played well last year and from what i hear he's like a white T.O. or like the old randy moss was. it's all about him. just give me the ball

Sounds like Cowboy material to me!!
Saints? Shesh, a team that went from the top to the bottom in a season, such a crap move. |
for a 2nd and 5th round pick great job G-men that's why I love ya. Nothing like holding out for a prime player like a WR or something.
What did you expect to get for him? He's a loudmouth whiner who has been hurt. The only thing that makes me upset is that he's the receiver Eli throws most of his INT's too :(. At least the Eagles can focus on Burress now.
It about time they got rid of him. The guy was a moron and doesnt deserve to even be on that super bowl team. The guy leaves with a ring so it doesnt matter to him.
Glad to see him gone! Anything is better than nothing but the Giants obviously screwed up this situation. They could have had picks from this year if they had traded him early on before the draft.
They won without him and quite a few games to prove it to so I dont think they did to bad.
Well its common sense. Shockey whined about not having the ball thrown to him, so Eli has been pretty much pressured to do so. And with him on the sideline, Eli could stay more focused and not feel obligated to throw it to one particular person all the time. Good move.

i hate shockey.
i hate the giants. the two seperating though was a smart maneuver by coughlin. keep boss, who performed in clutch time, get rid of shockey. theyre getting a younger, quieter and CHEAPER version of shockey imo. shockey to the saints makes THE MOST SENSE OUT OF ANY MOVES THIS SEASON. drew brees will have an easier time with an antonio gates style athlete to give the ball to. |
