Xbox 360 MLB 2008

Sometimes I dont understand why they make these games so difficult...I tried this game for about 5 minutes and got frustrated...I bought it used w/ no book now my question is what buttons do the basic things like throw, hit,etc...and more importantly pitch...Ill admit i had a few in me but I couldnt figure it out for the life of me...thx guys.
