Headunit instal amp question ?
 

Alright so I bought a headunit the Pioneer Premeire AVIC-D3 in dash with the navigation and all that good stuff, when I install it do I need to do anything with bypassing?? or connecting the amp from the stock sound monsoon sound system (in a 02 ws6 btw) and the second part of my question is does it have an amp at all.

yes the monsoon system has an amp and you'd need to connect one extra wire behind the radio, like the remote wire to it, in order for the speakers to work.

on my camaro's with the bose system, i needed a separate harness. i personally would hit up crutchfield.com. they are very helpful and have almost anything you will need.

my ss with the monsoon system had a standard gm harness in the dash.
