Road & Track just spilled the beans on the new Nissan GT-R Spec V, so we can now share their data with all of you. Thanks guys. While the "regular" GT-R is busy bringing down giants and collecting hardware in the process, the new GT-R Spec V promises to improve on the formula, and probably cure cancer or bring about world peace along the way. Here are the numbers: 2 seats only, 520 hp @ 6500 rpm, 440 lb.-ft. of torque all the way from 3200–5200 rpm, 3615 lbs., 'Ring laps quicker than 7:30, $130,000 MSRP, early 2009. |
is it going to be a manual or only auto

Not a big fan of the look, personally I like the look of the G35. Something with that look and 550hp would've been much nicer IMHO, then again I couldn't afford it so its all good.
|
And I'd bet racing and using the built in launch contol will still void the warranty

For that amount of money I'll pay to have an R34 Skyline imported and hop it up to holy hell and it will still probably cost less.

that car is pretty fuggly. It looks like a pug that got kicked in the mouth.

i like it. ***** nasty

Eh, it's ok I guess. It's funny though, the Nissan fanboi's SWORE it'd be priced cheaper than the ZR1. I still want to see a "non-ringer" GT-R vs Spec-V vs. ZR1 shootout.
