Fearless prediction: Pavano is called up Sept 1. He wins 4 starts witha 2.32 ERA. The Yanks pick up his option. March 29, 2009 he stubs his toe and is out until May. Around May 31st he comes back, wins a game against Boston. Then is lost for the season due to a thumb nail tear on his non-throwing hand.

lol pretty much the way it's been since he became a yankee. i think cashman needs to go. and i'm eating my words from last year when i said mussina SUCKS! the old man is the best they have this year. losing wang hurt, pettite is so-so, chamberlin keeps you in the game but...and all the youngs guns they counted on like hughes and kennedy complete FAILURES. feels like the 80's all over again.
