Question for the Shore Folk.....
 

....I'll be in LBI (Beach Haven Terrace, 133rd St.) Thursday night - Saturday morning.

Anyone local, or know of good bars / other activities in that area? I haven't been to the Beach Haven area in years.....

The good happy hour is at the Ketch on Sunday afternoon(probably a good 30-35 streets south). But the bartenders also work at the Marlin on Thursday night(say hi to Kristen for me) and if you're just looking for a decent place for dinner try the Black Whale which is down a couple of streets from the Ketch(I think it's on the same street as the Marlin). Buckaloo's is also a decent family style restaurant/bar on the same street on the main blvd. In the area you are in, the Terrace Tavern is right on the main blvd as well and it's a decent place. If you want to meet up Thursday night at the Marlin I might not mind cruising down since summer is almost over, just give me a heads up.
