Racing a Mach 1 tonight with gears and exhaust/intake
 

tonight im racing a mach 1 at the track he has been talking all kinds of **** and we're finally going at it. Any suggestions for a better time? WOT shifting?

what year Mach 1 and stick or auto?

ur going to need more then that 13.34 in ur sig to beat that mach they ride with them mod ur saying

its a 5 speed and has gears idk what the ratio is but its better then 3.55

those 04 mach with gear and it more then likely has a intake and tune run hard and mabe a exust run in the mid 12

i have seen MANY mach1's at englishtown and atco, and have never seen an intake exhaust and gears car run mid 12's......

Me neither and 9 times out of 10 they can't shift anyway, I lose count of how many guys miss a shift on street night. I personally never lift my foot from the gas pedal while shifting. Good Luck

I think it'll be close, assuming the driver mods are equal. With your new headers, I'm guessing you'll be about a 13.20.

two of my boy have mach with exust intake and gears and we can beat that they go in the 12

English not a first language? And my friend has a bullit mustang and we raced a local Mach 1 and the mach only got him by a car length or so. So um 12 sec?

My buddies bone stock ne ran a best of a 13.4@105 with a 60 of 2.1. They arent no GT. Them DOHC 4.6 move. I drove his car and all i can say wow. I was never impressed with a GT but them machs are a real diffrence. No Cobra but def a challenge. I can beat my buddies at the track on but on the street were about even. When my car decides to run wit kills it but still a close race

motor trend took a stock 03 mach 1 to a 13.2 at 106

so that mean gear intake and exuast will put that car in the 12

Really? So heads and cam would net you like 10s?

They are quick. They do have solid rears unlike the Cobras so if he's got a tire, watch out.

chances are, car and driver used a better driver than a local kid :)

4.10s on mach1s all the way. and with intake, exhaust , and 4.10s they run mid low 13s . have two friends with 03 mach 1s both ran the same times .

yeh he has 4.10's too its resceduled(too late to spell) due to rain

:lol: I know the Mach 1 youre talking about. "The Hammer" pulled on him a few times (in his low 13 sec Lightning) but the guy couldnt drive. We told him that if he wanted to do a full race to come to Atco that next night, the kid never showed up. I dont think its that fast.

Upgraded cams are like 2 grand for them cars. But the Cam only machs are really nasty.
