Do NOT install this crap.

Anyone running a MS product seems to be having a problem with it including some getting the BSoD from it.
My biggest problem is that my ipod isn't recognized by the computer but from the looks of this, it's the least of their problems.

:shock: wow. i always wait to install new updates for pretty much anything. that just sucks.

i had that problem, and had to totally clean the computer of all previous itunes and reinstall it.

hmmm i upgraded to itunes8 with no problem....uploaded the 2.1 software to my iphone 3g too. *shrug*

works flawlessly on my mac running osx 10.5

I upgraded to 8 on my XP machine yesterday...haven't checked it yet. All my stuff is backed up anyway. Haven't upgraded my Powerbook yet though.
