Aww man that really blows. Pink Floyd haven't officially retired either. Dave Gilmour had his solo album which Wright and Mason both played on, but there was always hope for one more studio album.

That hope is fading fast. :(

Any time will do, I don't mind.
Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.

If you can hear this whispering you are dying.

I never said I was frightened of dying.

That really sucks. I was hoping that they would get back together again and tour. I dont think they will now.

Dave Gilmour's solo album had David Crosby on it, so he's apparently willing to collaborate. I bet Nick wouldn't mind seeing someone else they all know very well, step into Richard's spot for a spell. With luck maybe they'll see some wisdom in one last tour.

Yea, I was hoping they'd get along and do one last tour after the success of the Live 8 show they were a part of. That was the first time they played together since June '81 on the last day of The Wall tour in London.
