Had my LS6 T/A tuned by TTP, PICS (56k burn!)

Matt at TTP helped me out big time with this! They were having a special I couldn't refuse, $175 for 3 pulls and a printout(thanks for letting my know btw Larry).

Apparently the car was leaned out to hell from the previous tuner...Matt wound up deleting everything and just re-tuning it from scratch.

9 tweaks/pulls later and here are the results, I'm fairly satisfied. Car runs great now!! I'm still a little bored with it, so next comes a cam & retune, then a blower some day, money willing. I also snapped some pics of a few cars at the shop, sorry for the quality, some are bad angles and/or lighting but it's all I had to work with....ENJOY!

Shop cars...road race C6 Z06, sweet!!

C6 Z06 covered under the lift next to the dyno. From what I saw it had aftermarket wheels, then the owner showed up and I heard him talking to Matt. Apparently it's getting a clutch and cam. Must be nice...

This thing's sick!!! I don't even know what else to call it besides that. 1400lbs, Hyabusa motor, getting ready for a custom turbo setup. Need I say more??

I'll get there eventually. I have to figure out what cam I want though. It's nice to have people think the car's a bolt-on LS1 and then it surprises them a little. The LS6 cam profile sounds stock so it's a sleeper like this. I'm looking into a slightly more agressive cam that will still sound CLOSE to stock, I dont' need a huge one anyway, it just needs a little more low end grunt...the upper rpm's are pretty well covered, HP wise.

As for power before the tune, I'm hesitant to say. The shop I bought the car from said they "tuned it" and I have the dyno sheets for 385/381, but when we went for a base run yesterday it was running dengerously lean so they didn't even tach it up all the way.

So overall I may have lost a little on the peak numers, but it gained everywhere else in the rpm range. It's definately faster now. 1st and 2nd are a "no no" with the street tires. 3rd's probably no picnic either but I haven't done a full 1-2-3 punch because I figure what's the point?

It's a 2003 LS6 longblock pulled directly from a Z06 at 20k, Pacesetter LT's, ORY, SLP LMII cat-back with 2 vortex silencers welded into the resonator, SLP UD crank pulley, SLP lid, K+N, FAST 90mm intake, Nick Williams 90mm TB, MSD wires, NGK TR55's gapped at 50, RAM clutch/slave/master, stock T56, stock shifter w/custom handle I had fabbed with help of an LS1 TEch member, stock 3:42's, Adjustable panhard bar, everything else is stock.

Nice, although through LTs, ORY, and an LM2 it's gonna be tough to get a cam that will not give your setup away :D

Weren't the 2003 Z06's rated at 405hp? or was that at the back of the motor not at the wheels? Not busting nuts, just curious. Either way, nice numbers. And the pics of the RR Z06, I love the rubber and dirt on the Silver car, adds character....

Any close up shots of the splitter on the blue vette?

Good luck

All engines from the factory are rated at the flywheel not at the wheels, it just so happens that most LS1 powered vehicles dynoed right at their flywheel rated HP so anyone that has owned an LS1 has been forever spoiled ;)

That's right. I was thinking of the old method (gross power, no accessories etc...original LT-1) versus the newer method (net power, as installed in car....LT1)....sorry for the confusion.

So back to the numbers....387 at the wheels is pretty damn good for an LS6 longblock, with some bolt-ons.
