There is a fill on the side of the case, IIRC RH side above the axle. Fill untill it drips out that hole, replace plug.

Those electronics are probably for Anti Lock brakes or Traction Control.

To further this point-

It sounds like that's the sensor on the differential for 3 channel ABS- which means you have two wheel sensors up front and a single rear sensor. You do not have traction control. Traction control requires 4 sensors- one on each wheel and no reluctor ring+sensor in the differential.

okay, is it a rubber plug? and i could probably order one from a local parts store right?

No, it is a metal pipe plug. IIRC a 3/8" extension is needed to take it out. Fill, then put it back in..

The car should be generally level when you check the fluid - not rear end way up in the air.

you can pop that abs sensor out of the top of the diff and fill it in that hole. I've done that. it's a lot easier. just wait till the fluid comes out the hole on the side.

since my driveway is a hill lol i will pull my car in that way i can jack it up just enough where it is easy to get under there and it will be fairly level

Yes, as long as you open the hole on the side. Otherwise you can overfill the diff.
