Dynasty in demise???

Ok, so the Patriots lost the Super Bowl, then they lost Brady, and now they lost to the f'ing Dolphins!!!

Is this the end of the dynasty or just a hick-up along the road?

I sure hope it's the end. It could be that the Pats just played like crap yesterday. But you know when Brady comes back next year, he's not going to be the same. A QB having a knee injury like that, he'll always be on guard and looking at defenders more than looking down field.

SteveR 09-22-2008 10:14 AM

Wasn't it the Dolphins that ended the Patriots perfect season in '06?

foff667 09-22-2008 10:41 AM

STFU the dolphin's RULE!!!

PS to anyone that doesn't know I'm a dolphin's fan so this is the highlight of our season and maybe the decade knowing we stopped their home winning streak which dates back well over a year :D

i also = dolphins fan, stfu timmay

Its okay. Rutgers isn't doing too well either. My Penguins aren't doing well either. Many teams that were doing really good last season are sucking in their first few games. Pittsburgh Penguins losing to Tampa Bay Lightning and Rutgers losing to Navy are almost equivalent to the Pats losing to the Dolphins.

As Tyler Durden once said, "Hey, even the Mona Lisa's falling apart". Nothing good last forever.

Savage_Messiah 09-22-2008 01:19 PM

Good. **** the Pats.

trashman01 09-22-2008 04:50 PM

its a hick-up, when brady comes back, it be half season be4 he gets back to his old self, and as for matt cassell, hes nervous and has no game experince, give bout week 8 and he'll be better. of course since im a niners fan, i hope we kick their ass

Boston Sucks

NastyEllEssWon 09-22-2008 05:35 PM

its hard to win when you cant cheat or know exactly what the defense is going to do.

NJSPEEDER 09-22-2008 06:54 PM

Do you really think they won every game because of cheating? lol

Get clue dude. Best O-line in the game for years giving a very good QB forever to find a target and a bunch of good routes being run by some of the most consistent players in the game, including Moss.

I am a Steelers fan, but I know why the Pats won all those game and Super Bowls.

Mangini used to work for the Pats so when the Jets played the Pats, he called them out on it because he knew what was going on.

I'm sure other teams cheat, but don't do it against a team that knows what you're up to.

The funny thing is what the Pats actually got in trouble for. You are allowed to send a videographer to the opponents sideline to get that perspective on the plays, but not to tape any signal calling, they turned the camera on the hand signals and broke the rules. Now this is the part that is stupid to me, you can have any other videographer in the stadium tape the same guy, just not the one standing on their sidelines.

Sorry, but I have a hard time considering it cheating when the guy giving the signals is standing right out in plain sight.

I agree, its a silly rule, and I think football is the only one with one like it. In baseball, if the batter, base runner, or anybody else on the opposing team steals signs, it's the pitcher and catchers fault for letting them know what they're calling. That's why they cover their mouths when they talk to each other on the mound, because years ago teams would hire lip readers to sit in the bleachers with binoculars and read their lips and call the pitches to the other team. However, it IS a rule in football and the Pats got caught breaking it.

Cowboys finally won at the Tundra!!
Cannot Wait till we play the Giants.

NJSPEEDER 09-23-2008 06:13 AM

Cowboys are looking very strong this year. I was wondering what kind of week they would have going against another physical team in Green Bay after that war against the Eagles. You know there are guys on that team just dying to get to the bye week.

So far the Cowboys soap opera side has only shown itself in tiny little cracks and Wade Phillips proving why he is always the players favorite door matte by taking the blame for T.O.'s retarded sprinter celebration. All those players and only so much spotlight to go around, this is like the cocaine powered Mets of the 80's all over again.
