A semi-local guy my dad knows will be racing his supposed 600 rwhp yellow supercharged daily driven GTO. Therefore, I may go and bring a few locals....Anyone else interested?

BTW notice date change...this friday Island is closed, so it will be moved to next friday, October 3rd.

I love friday nights but I never get a good pass, those street tire cars kill the track. I'll be there Saturday, last time out with the car for this year.

Usually 10.7/10.8 on Friday's right? I think that's what I remember.

yeah high 10.80's, last sunday at the ol daze drags I went 10.83@113 on the brakes hard. traction is everything. I hope to beat my best, a 10.52, on Saturday

Sorry, but as I said, the firebird will be down for several months. I have some work to do, my new engine builder has some work to do, I have friends I need help from, etc. etc. That and parts are needed.

It'll all be worth it, though, when I pull out and cut a few seconds off.

Was seeing if everyone's still going given the iffy weather. I'm not racing, so I don't want to just watch 5 cars race, the locals and I are debating going. I know neither Alex nor Fish are coming.

i was there, saw fish, made a pass and smoked my clutch in 2nd gear.. thought it was tires spinning, til i picked up the slip and smelled clutch. think thats it for racing the z til its clutch time.

That WAS you in the Barney mobile. I couldn't tell but I saw you had the Z that night so I had guessed so. I saw Sam for a bit, he was running 12.3/12.4 spinning real bad. I met Fish, saw him made a 13.6.

Yeah I went not into it that much anymore..:( anyway I have a set of old rims with some old BF goodrich Drag Radials on them 275 40 17 if anyone is interested in them let me know.
