will replacing my 160k throttle body help anything I can get one for about 20 bucks with less then 10k miles on it from a 97 z28

No. Not unless your current TPS or IAC is bad. Or the top plate is leaking, which is unlikely.

alright thanks i didn't think it would do anything but jsut wanted to check.

The shaft bushings wear out eventually, causing vacuum leakage and throttle bind after they get way out of spec. At $20 I'd bag the new one up and keep it for later.
