um, i think you would have to do something like white face gauges that are blue "screened." i don't think the actual bulbs are red. you mean like the speedo and tach numbers right?

blue sucks. i tried it in my car and its too dim. and the needles stay kinda reddish. unless u get blue leds...that mite work.

Didn't your brother either talk about doing this or do it?

well i was going to use LED's. do i have to take the dash apart?

Slo86Bird 09-26-2008 08:51 AM

yes. and take out the cluster and remove the lights and swap them.

is that a big pain in the ass? i found a product from thunder racing. they are white face overlays. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...n%26ie%3DUTF-8

i figured i would buy them and they buy blue LED's

sweetbmxrider 09-27-2008 01:20 PM

i think that would be your best bet. i did white face overlays in my truck and they look nice. on my old computer, i found a site that has white face inserts for the a/c and headlights too. just google around for a bit, you will find them.

okay, thnx man. i really want to get this done, im not that big of a fan with the red. i have always loved black and blue theme

They are overlays, putting them on isnt going to make it change color at night.

i may have not looked at them correctly then. the ones i installed on my truck i had to wire up and they were blue. i am sure they make the same thing for this car, just not this particular one then. maybe i'll go internet shopping

I have a cluster sitting in my room. When I get home later I'll check it out. You may be right.
