Thats whats under it. Driver side spark plug access ok! Passanger side is rough. There is gunna have to be some really magical working to get a LT header on the driver side, around the steering shaft. |
battery in the trunk?
|
looks like the MAF is built into the air box. That should make a simple intake a bit more money. Looks a lot better than the concept I think.

I want

haha could be one of the first TSB's of many to come out on this car in the future. all this car is gonna do is remind chevy why they killed the camaro in the first place. |

The car looks much different once your inside it. I like how the two guages are right there in front of you, just comes out of the dash. Guages are easy to read, if a little odd how they go around the dial. HVAC/Radio controls are very easy to opperate with a pair of driving gloves on. No crazy button dash, and not cheap parts-bin interior set up either. Its very easy climate and radio controls, with quality switchgear even in the IVER car. Interior will be the make or break of this car for most people. Driving position is much improved over the 3/4th gens. And PLENTY of space up front. Oh..it was funny, I was sitting in the pass seat with another Camaro guy in the driver seat. I looked down at the floor and said "its gone...no more cat hump. horray!" And he started to laugh and said "stupid cat hump" |

I remember talking to Scott back in 06 about it. He said it would have cost GM 100 million dollars to redesign the floor boards to remove the hump for the 4th gen.
To put that in perspective, it cost GM 250 million to redesign the Camaro for 98. And to better drive it home....GM (rumoor) spent 250-350 million dollars to develop the 5th gen...the whole car. That included increasing the dash to axle ratio from the Holden Zeta platform along with 100 or so improvements to chassis dynamics over the Aussie Zeta platform. |

Actually, it just proves how old the chassis was... |
