i was offered 5500 for my 95Z28, its mint inside and out, like unbelievable, and has 127k on it, a new trans and all new brakes, plus all the mods in my sig.
the kid wants it like SOON...
i dont have another car lined up either.... i wanted to get a c5 next year, maybe ill buy a beater and bank the money for the vette next year.... or find a cheap LS1 car? find a cheap LT1 C4 vette? an s10 extreme? a GTP? hell i was even lookin at 96 impala ss's and id love to rock a 99-00 caddy STS!

go for it. new cars are always fun. so is cash. I cant believe anyone can even afford to buy a car for that much in cash. Ive been laid off twice this summer already

If he is anxious to pay $5500, he is most likely willing to pay $6000. Just go back to him and say you were thinking about it and looked at what you have invested and you need to get $6k out of it. Odds are he will be able to cover the other $500 easily.

Then take the money, grab yourself a beater, and go Corvette shopping mid winter when people are really really struggling to sell and you can get the best price :)

lol im having like major seperation anxiety!.... whenever ive sold a car i liked, i had sumthin better in the driveway already, i dont even have a car picked out yet and im goin nuts! obviously now i realize how much time ive put into that car, and ive only had it a year... i duno man, im gettin the deposit tomarrow afternoon
