Spotted an SRT8 Challenger
 

Well they must be selling pretty good because I've seen 3 of them around town in the past week. I've seen SRT8's at car shows but this is the first time i've actually talked to an owner of one(I work at a gas station so I see a lot of cars). This was a black SRT8 and number 447 out of the 6400 for 08. The guy bought it in August and was able to get it at MSRP which was 43,500 because it's loaded. I must admit, Dodge didn't do that bad at bringing the Challenger back. While the guy was getting gas I brought up the new Camaro and told him how chevy really has their act together and was shocked when I told him the V6 had 300hp and that the SS with 430HP was just a hair over 30K. Just thought I'd share my sitting. I'm sure BigAl will pop in and say how much of a pig the Challenger is.

Ive seen a handful...still sitting on dealer lots with heavy mark up!!
But I have seen 3-4 of them on the road. I keep seeing the same orange SRT8 on my way home from work, going west bound on 138 as Im going east towards 18.

Challenger is a pig, but everyone knows that.

Saw an R/T at Atco running. 13.4 spinning. An automatic at that.

I see a few of them around, an orange one and a black one. I really like the Challenger, if I had the cash for it I would rock an SRT8 as a daily driver.
