Lowest price I have is 63.50 for a 40k Guardsman tire.
Next up is Sumitomo HTRT4 75k mile tire for 69.50 |
al, P275/40R17 all seasons. like kuhmos or falken 452's. whats your price?
|
PM me with prices.
I put a set of the 275/40-17 F452's on Timmay's Z28, have them in stock as well. |
Get the Falkens. They are fun tires and work great in the rain.

id recommend staying away from any Sears Auto Center for tires. The best way to buy tires is online. tirerack.com has a shipping port in delaware and delivers to NJ in a day or two. bringing in dead wheels (loose tires) and having them do it like that is the cheapest way to get tires done. most of the time theyll forget the mount charge and just charge you with a balance.
i stay away from large chains when it comes to tires. you can pay 75 a tire for the HTR T4's or pay 10 bucks more on tirerack.com and get the HTR Z. ive heard lots of awesome things about the HTR Z |
nowhere did you provide a reason why
|
I have used treadepot.com , they usually have good prices.

They are ****. Sumitomos suck for pretty much anything. Also, I will always charge a mount/dismount fee when not buying our tires. |
yes well i wasnt speaking about you or your shop. lots of shops will cut you a break if you just walk in with some loose wheels and tires. i was also speaking about the fact that stores usually mark up tires a nice bit. 75 bucks for Sumitomo H rated tires is not a good price when z rated tires in the same price range are only 10 bucks extra.
sumitomo's are tires for people that just need tires. just like hankook. just like falken. cheap tread for those that need em. i would rock sumi's before rocking falkens. ive had some bad experiences with falkens in the past. avon tyres make good cheap tires |
I have this conversation with many of our certain cilentile...
I offer one on one service, tire rack, just tire, discount, ect do not. You have to factor in shipping, mounting/balancing prices, i offer road hazard warranty...where tirerack does, but you need to mail the tire back. also road side assisitance that'll put your spare on for you/pull you out of the mud if truck tires. but whatever its a moot point. still didnt say why you don't like sears. |
i have a personal vendetta against Sears Corp
edit: i also understand all the different aspects of why buying in house can be more cost effective. ive been around in the industry in many different types of shops and realize that to the avg person buying at the store is cheaper in the long run. i dont worry about road hazards for the very reason that i can fix my own rubber and i rarley buy tires brand new. the only tires i buy brand new are usually some type of offroad tires which arent going to see many hazards anyway. also one of my biggest reasons for hating SAC..... ive seen 90 percent of the wheels coming out of SAC's are usually chipped, scratched and Counterbalanced like a mofo. |
Whenever either the fiance or I needed tires we would get them from tirerack.com. Then took them to R&W tire and paid $20 and got them mounted and balanced. Pretty good deal in my mind. Now I have those run flat tires on my car and I've got free tire replacement with the warranty plan I got on my charger so I'm good for a while :)
