Gas will be more expensive soon.

Aparently countries are upset that gas has gotten too cheap over the last few weeks.

When oil was $150 a barrel it was $4 a gallon

If oil is now $75 a barrel shouldnt it be $2 a gallon like it was the last time oil was $75 a barrel?

mc73nova 10-21-2008 06:25 AM

Nothing every makes any sense, don't you guys know that already!
I actually saw $2.99 for 93 octane in Garwood yesterday.

chemicalstylez 10-21-2008 02:32 PM

prices wont jump... america has cut back fuel consumption by leaps and bounds. They just want to make the speculators go crazy but it won't work. Reg is 2.52 and falling. Soon it will be around the area where the normal inflation rates should have it. Now if we can just have these damn people knock off the "fuel surcharge" ******** now...i still pay through the nose on those costs at my business.

cdacda13 10-21-2008 03:44 PM

Gas prices better stay down, I'm about to buy a huge gas guzzling truck.

Premium is $2.77 in my town, Plus is $2.65 and Regular is $2.52.

TNTramair 10-22-2008 04:29 PM

gas station up the street here in philly just clicked $2.97 today for premium....i havent seen it that cheap in over 2 years over here. i know it wont last very long but it sure is nice to see....figures though its this time of year when i wont need it as much,.

Frosty 10-22-2008 04:33 PM

The reports I've been reading are saying even if OPEC cuts their output it probably won't stop the fall of prices. It might steady them or we might see a SLIGHT increase but they'll still continue to fall long term.

Jersey_TA 10-22-2008 04:39 PM

I love falling gas prices :)

Did you take your picture?

BigAls87Z28 10-22-2008 07:50 PM

2.45 around me for regular. I had to do a double take!
But with oil down another 5 bucks, it seems that this news hasnt done much. Massive, massive sell offs in the comodity segment, so dont expect to see oil coming back up.

chemicalstylez 10-24-2008 02:40 PM

Yea the cut basically means the demand for oil has dropped. Prices will stop drop like rocks :)

ZeroCool8891 10-24-2008 04:32 PM

i put gas in teh truck the other for 2.40, with i had more money because its alittle cheaper and im on E.

DaSkinnyGuy 10-24-2008 08:31 PM

tumble tumble tumble

NJSPEEDER 10-25-2008 06:46 AM

The country could solve this by drilling it's own oil, but we know a certain group of politicians that won't let it happen. "It will take 10 years.....blah blah blah", well since that same excuse has been getting used for 20+ years now, it looks like it would have kept us largely out of the current situation.
