sweet dood, my parents have a 99 rt

Slo86Bird 10-21-2008 10:55 PM

my dad had a 99 r/t dakota....fast as hell but the retard sold it.

Mike 10-21-2008 11:03 PM

what was done to it? our durango struggles to get mid 16s

Slo86Bird 10-21-2008 11:05 PM

intake, open headers, port and polished heads, 2 inch drop, and just taillights and dumb stuff like that....you gotta think that the dakota weighs a significant amount less. it was extended cab and did burnouts like nobodys business cuz the rear end was so light.

SteveR 10-21-2008 11:26 PM

damn dude, that sounds like an awesome truck you got. Congrats!

maroman88 10-22-2008 12:31 AM

it looks like the billet grille was cut/made to fit around the intercooler, which should be at least 3.5-4" thick.

id say lose that tiny IC and billet grille and replace it with a much larger wider front mount.

oh snap you are right. i would prefer to have it behind a grill though, for protection, and sneakiness. :shifty:
