Need Help Blowing Out Underground Lawn Sprinkler System!
Does anyone have the equipment to blow out 3 lines, (in the front of my house) to clear out the water from my underground lawn sprinkler system? I live in the Middlesex area and would be willing to pay a REASONABLE price for your time. It would take about 5 minutes to blow out the 3 lines in my front yard. You will need an attachment to hook up to a water outlet(the kind you screw your water hose on to). Please PM me as I need to do it before the weather freezes the ground. Thanks for ANY help!

Do you have an air compressor and or a way to get to home depot... ? Its not that hard.

Do you have a air compressor? I do my sprinklers with my compressor. I have a fitting I screw into the manifold, I turn on the system, shut off the water and let all the water blow out.

no but you can have an ATTACHMENT to fit inside the water outlet

Yea and thats what home depot is for man, its really simple.
|
On your manifold thers has to be some sort of plug that you can take out. Get the same plug from home depot and modifiy so you can thread a regular air fitting on it ( baisically drill and tap it) to plug your air line on to it and then put your original plug back.

Its gonna be a 3/4 or 5/8 fitting, get a union down to 1/4, go fancy with a quick connect or just thread your air line into it. Shut water off, turn on section by section, blow out. Simple as pie.

Its possible with a three gallon, I did my whole yard with mine.

All you need is between 50 and 80 psi. Your compressor will work.
|
The problem is the volume of said pressure....
