new PB mph last night with VIDEO
PB TIMESLIP FROM LAST YEAR
60 foot time: 1.691 1/8 Mile ET: 7.615 1/8 Mile MPH: 91.59 1/4 Mile ET: 11.968 1/4 Mile MPH: 113.65 TIMESLIP FROM LAST NIGHT 60 foot time: 1.785 1/8 Mile ET: 7.770 1/8 Mile MPH: 92.17mph 1/4 Mile ET: 12.018 1/4 Mile MPH: 116.35 http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9...e-f28e029ae5f3 sidenote- Last year i was on a 12 bolt rear w/ 373s, chassis mount tq arm, no tune, crappy T56, and 100 extra lbs out of the car. Now i have a badass T56, and a Chummma tune --> which made a big difference. BUT im on a stock torque arm, a 10bolt with 3.42s, and i didnt bother stripping the interior and a few other things (+100lbs). my back seat is out but all interior parts were left in. this was done on a friday night, track unprepped, i spun alot on my other runs and wound up not launching as high, which of course i hooked that time and i bogged a bit. normally when i hook, im coming out of the hole around 5500-5800 rpm, not sidestepping the clutch but not dragging it out either. I really want to hit 11s with the +100lbs and 3.42 gears, then i will take weight out, and look for another rear with 3.73s, 3.90s, or 4.10s My ultimate goal is to go 11.70s on stock internals. |
you would have been there if they had prepped the track

good luck man. where are you loosing 100lbs with the back seats already out?

Play with the tire pressures and work on getting the launch down. You have plenty of MPH to get it done, just need to get that tenth back off of the 60ft time.
Congrats on the progress Ron. -Tim |

Pump the fronts up to 50-55 for just a bit less rolling resistance. Just remember to air them down before you leave.
