'79 was the best selling year for the Camaro... and appearance was a big reason why.

SupermanX24 11-08-2008 11:36 PM

Take away the grill, those rims, and that god awful hood scoops (or w/e the you wanna call it) and I don't think it would look TOO bad

Ian 11-09-2008 03:12 AM

ha, thats the first mustang I've ever seen with running boards

procamaroz28 11-09-2008 10:09 AM

Njgunslinger 11-09-2008 03:16 PM

ahh you guys have no imagination, that would be a great car to have when the world becomes like the MAD MAX movies! Just add a couple machine guns and bingo, you are all set!

LTb1ow 11-09-2008 03:27 PM

I am with that guy. ^ As long as it truly is post apocalypse.

camarogirl57 11-09-2008 04:13 PM

No accounting for taste. They'll sell a few, I'm sure. some guy around here (S.I.) has tried to do a similar number on a '97 Camaro Coup 6cyl; Ugh. Hopeless

FBODS4EVER 11-09-2008 06:31 PM

looks like a car for spiderman (painted red). or batman.

Savage_Messiah 11-09-2008 07:32 PM

looks like they tried being like the death race mustang... except that one had guns and stuff...

jims69camaro 11-10-2008 05:26 AM

anything outside of the '60s to the early '70s is an ugly rustnag. that thing is hideous.

take it apart, remove the hood and replace with a working cowl induction hood. unless the side scoops are functional, ditch them. otherwise, tone them down. you don't want the focal point of your car being a side scoop. outside of that, i do like the way he carried the theme throughout with the knife swipes.

the first pic shows the dude and a cardboard cutout of the dude. which is which?

V 11-10-2008 12:34 PM

it has some hope...

hood scoops still need to go

using ms paint and a laptop mouse pad...

LTb1ow 11-10-2008 12:43 PM

Those rims are still tacky, maybe some gun metal grey TT?
