Just based on the title i'm gonna guess it's a 5 cent radio shack resistor that you are supposed to mount inline with your air intake temp sensor and make the car think it's cold outside, therefor prividing more fuel. Lame...

my buddy bought one for his ranger and swore it worked. i told him to give me a ride in his truck so i could feel for myself and it didnt do jack ****. I just laughed at him after that.
