Got Top 3 at a Call of duty tournament at gamestop
 

To start this off all i have is Call of duty 2 ( theres a 3 and 4 that i havent played ) for xbox360 and i havent played it in a year before tonight for 5 mins.

Found out tonight at 7:30pm from a friend he was going to this call of duty tournament to play the new call of duty world at war. So i took 5 mins practiced call of duty 2 on xbox live match. Went to the gamestop found out i had to go to another gamestop 20mins away. got there, there were 24 kids, the number you signed in as for the sign up was your number so they randomly pick 2 numbers at thats who goes against each other. I went in the 3rd game, I won, kids in the back said you just "waxed him" ( i assume that means destroyed but im not NC native) so they picked two random numbers i was back up the next round, won that it was close but i kept the lead, waiting few more till i was in the finals. This game im winning im just rushing ahead, well just about 50 seconds left he gets a huge boost and was able to take the lead by a small amount.

I couldnt believe it, i dont even play call of duty games and i came to a tournament and got top 3 now only top 3 people get a T-shirt, so i took a pic as proof. Its an XL i need at least a L or even a Medium would have worked best but thats all. First tournament ever, dont even play the game just went for ****s and giggles alone and came out top 3. A win in my books.

winner got a t-shirt like me, free game and moves onto another tournament in january. Winners are competing for $2,500 in the finals

I heard the same thing. Its actually COD4, but in WW2 settings... i played enough damn WW2 games, i want some current day warfare. /rant

Yeah, or do a Vietnam game. Still waiting for that. Or go old-timey with handle bar mustaches and give us a Civil War game. Or get all colonial with a Revolution game...blow a guy's head off and watch his powdered wig fly.

considering the fact the all the vietnam games that have come out over the years kick ass..........ecpecially battlefield vietnam. They def need to make one.

haha funny u should bring this up, i actually work at gamestop (worst job ever) and we had one the other night, we had 4 winners lol...shirt is actually pretty sick we had them here too

i think if u win next time, u go to one more, if you win that they fly u and a friend out to san diego to play for 2500 and other prizes...good luck man

I cant stand COD multiplayer...i just stick with Halo3. Daskinnyguy...haven't seen you on there in a while

to busy, i do 30 hours of school, 40 hours of work all week

i'm the complete opposite, i shoot a clip at someone and they are still standing in halo, not my style. cod4, 1,2, maybe 3 shots and they are dead, hardcore of coarse!

COD World at War isn't bad, I beat it already. The multiplayer isn't bad...COD4 multi is WAY better.

I only play PC games so I'm not sure how it is on Xbox.

how i dont even play the game, i walk into a tournament and get top 3, just skill i would say.
