Anyone going down for a T&T? I was thinking about heading down. First time there since April.

I was thinking about it. Depends how this week goes i may just end up going one night this week.

depends on if i can get another vacation day, if i can it will probably rain anyway :(

how did ya blow the trans

while out tuning and progressively footbraking higher and higher 5 hours after i installed the converter at my buddies shop. launched it at 3400 rpm's with et streets on the last pass. then right after i hit second boom!. no forward gears but i still had reverse. im pretty sure i broke the rear planetary. i know i shouldnt have launched that high but i was having too much fun lol. that converter really woke the car up. so now shes down for a bit. im gonna pull it and build it up myself during the winter.

Ha ha that scares me i was launching mine at 3k last week. I guess ill move it back down to 2500. I have the stock shift pressure i was gonna tune it a little more aggresively but i guess ill hold off on that. Did you put a trans cooler on?

yeah without a built trans i wouldnt go more than 2500. i have a shift kit also. i put in a tranny cooler long before the convertor. trans temp went no hotter that 185 on a hotter day. with the converter and cool air the max was 175

i thought i wasnt going to be able to make it there this weekend, after this past monday. my clutch just decided to start slipping. luckily, going to the track solved my problem. i rode up there in my friends car and talked to a fella who had a couple rebuilt ones sitting at his house. awesome deal ftmfw :D

so it looks windy and cold for tomorrow. perhaps we could add some snow into the mix as well?
