Price on block machining

How much does it normally cost to machine a sbc 350 for a 383 stroker kit with .30 over pistons and a 3.75 crank with 5.7 rods?
I want accurate estimates from people who know their crap no bs talk on this thread please.

i have a 91 block already done .030 over that i have no use for 4 bolt main, all you would have to do is notch the bottoms of the cylinders for crank clearance and match the cylinders to the pistons of choice, i spent over 1500 on machine work to this block from align boring the 4 bolt main caps to machining the head surfaces and the actual boring of the cylinders..all work was done by promotion engineering in Hanover off of rt 10...it yours for $500

If you want accurate estimates, call the machine shops in your area. No BS that way. And make sure the shops you are dealing with are doing the work themselves, not passing the work off to some other shop and acting as a middle man. Not busting nuts....sometimes its easier to just pick up the phone and make a few calls.

Thats a good deal right their, i might consider it but I got another old 69 0010 block for free. Its perfect if I wanted to put a 350 together right now as is but I want to go 383 with it.
