Tolls on the Parkway are going up starting Monday! I can't wait! They're going up again in 4 years, and if your commute now is $1.20, it's going to be $2.60 by then. So if you're spending $60 a week now, it's going to be $130. Awesome. That's a nice 234% increase.

That blows and the worst part is that the parkway and turnpike will still be in the red till my kid becomes an adult. Don't you just love living in NJ?

That thing has to be paid off by now :lol: They reduced their overhead and expenses by 50% by taking out half the toll plazas.

A big thanks to our wonderful governor who knows nothing other than how to take more of our money! And he wanted to raise the sales tax to 8% as well! :-x

If they'd just raise the tolls a little once in the while instead of a bunch every 20 years then it would not be such a BFD. Like a nickle ever 3 years or something. Something more inline with inflation. That is not unresonalbe to me.
