E-Town Road Course in December?

Anyone interested in hitting the track for one of their lapping days before Christmas?

I am going to finally do my brakes and a few other little things I have sitting here and get myself out there. I figure none of my parts are doing me any good sitting in the basement and I need to learn the track for the race in January anyway.

Anyone else interested?

as glad as i am to have you as part of the team, i seem to remember you bashing the **** out of e-towns course a few months ago. why are you now so interested in the race, and having track days there?

I also will not put an event on at that joke that is the road course at Etown. Narrow track, ungaurded light poles, no run off room, no safety traps, and no on site safety and recovery team. Not a good formula for an event that will be largely filled with drivers ranging from minimal experience to total newb.

So I can learn the course. I still don't like the place, but I will go out there and roll around to learn the place before the race. Not gonna go full pace with no run off room in my car.

Nope, just a scheduled track day to get some laps in.

i'll be up for hanging out

EchoMirage 11-29-2008 09:21 AM

theres not much place to hang out there. they have bleachers, but thats it. keep in mind itll be december. cold and windy. they may or may not have a portable tent up

Mike 11-29-2008 12:55 PM

i have a pop up tent that we can slap in the parking lot. 3 tarps for sides will kill any wind

I can bring mine too. We can link them together and I will bring Mr.Heater :)
