The Giants said Friday he would not play Sunday against the Redskins in Washington.

BECAUSE HE GOT SHOT! DUH! and it's Burress, not Burgess ;)

yeah, not really a suprise as he's had alot of off the field problems this year with the Giants that have for the most part gone unexplained.

My friend and I were talking about it... with money like that, what, 7 million a year, he has the money to buy literally ANYTHING. Anything. Do whatever the F you want, you could build/buy and own your own damn club. Oh well.

with what he makes a year, if he feels threatened...hire a body guard. Or at least learn how to use the safety lol

Burress keeps piling on the stupid and lowering his market value and the Giants keep on winning without him.

The Giants have two great luxuries that any team in the league could benefit from:

1. They have had the same starting offensive line for 36 games in a row now. That lucky a streak for health for lineman is unheard of in the NFL

2. They have a QB that isn't the strongest, fastest, or most talented guy behind center, but he is extremely fundamentally sound. Being good at the basics has kept Eli out of a lot of trouble

The Giants have a good team and they are rollin. I still don't want to see them win though :p
