This ever happen to anyone?

I was driving home and had the cruise set at 50 mph in 6th gear and all of a sudden my stick shift starting moving back and fourth like crazy and my check engine light was blinking. It did this for about half a mile then was normal again. Im gonna scan it tomorrow just wondering if anyone else ever had this happen?

sounds like a misfire to me.

Yeah, I think the blinking check engine light is for the misfire. Might need to check those wires again.

ya my jeep will blink the ses light during a missfire.......

DTC P0200 Thats the code i got. something about the injectors?

GP99GT 12-05-2008 06:41 PM

SES light blinking indicates misfiring

P0200 is Injector Circuit Malfunction

your injectors stopped firing for whatever reason....could be computer, wiring, among other things

Easiest place to start with anything wiring related, check grounds.

too bad im retarted when it comes to electrical stuff lol but ill look....somewhere?

NastyEllEssWon 12-07-2008 06:45 AM

most obvious is to look around the fuel rail harness area for frayed...spliced or loose wires.

98tadriver 12-08-2008 02:33 PM

its not that complicated, follow your wiring harness from the injectors
