anyone work at a dealer?

hey guys i was wondering if anyone worked at a gm dealer. i was wondering about how much and how long it would be to relpace the fuel tank pressure sensor and probably fuel pump while the tank is down.

Dealerships are a rip off. They charge 100-125 an hour for labor and they charge retail prices for parts.

Talk to a shop about doing it. Even if they charge the same for the parts, you will save a hundred bucks or more in labor charges.

I work at Ayres in Burlington. If you don't mind the labor rate and the cost of the parts, we could handle it. If it can wait till next month sometime I could probably do it after work.

just cut the hole (fuel pump door )it will be done in one hour

Yeah, why would you want him to do it the right way when he can hack the car up and make a soft spot in an already flexible unibody. Great plan.
