wisdom teeth

Wow. Had mine pulled on friday AM... just started to be able to eat food on sunday. Now, I have a huge bruise on the side of my face. Have percosets, vikidin none work... still can't chew/talk right out of the left side of my face.

sucks.

sweetbmxrider 12-08-2008 10:25 PM

sucks dude. i only have two and they are coming in real nice so who knows if they will ever have to come out

mc73nova 12-08-2008 10:26 PM

I remember that. ouch. I had all 4 of mine pulled at once, what a feeling!

NJSPEEDER 12-08-2008 10:27 PM

Go to GNC or a similar store and get bunch of those muscle milk shakes. Makes it easier.

Really? What do they do?

I had one start to come thru... and since my insurance for dental would run out this year... I figured why the hell not, let me just get em pulled... bad idea.

NJSPEEDER 12-08-2008 10:37 PM

You don't have to chew or anything and they are still pretty filling. Plus they actually taste good, are cold, and have some good vitamins and stuff in them.

Just figured it would eliminate some portion of your pain.

Anti_Rice_Guy 12-08-2008 10:39 PM

Ice your cheeks, swelling will go down. Make sure to rinse with salt water so the holes don't get infected. Chew towards the front of your mouth, or have shakes like Tim said. I had all 4 pulled at once over Thanksgiving last year, that sucked.

Stop being such a butthead
& smile, because my texts are amazing!
& they should deff be taking your mind off the pain ;)

watch your wallet though...each of those muscle milk bottles are like 3.50 for a small bottle

NJSPEEDER 12-08-2008 11:17 PM

Wow, didn't realize that they had gotten that expensive. The only things I go to GNC for anymore are my vitamins and Twin Labs Endurance Fuel(excellent supplement for runners)

SamhainZ28 12-08-2008 11:57 PM

feel better chris

Knipps 12-08-2008 11:58 PM

I was supposed to have mine taken out but they've come in without a problem.. probably going to bite me in the ass in the future

I know the feeling, I had all 4 of mine pulled. They put me to sleep for the procedure. I remember once I got home, I went to sleep; I woke around 3pm and the novacaine had worn off and I had nothing in my system to relieve the pain when woke up. I was in some serious pain for about 20mins until the percocets started to kick in.

well i go to exxon to buy my muscle milk when i need it, maybe GNC could be cheaper but i hear GNC prices are really high too.

Watch out you don't get a dry socket. A lot of people get those when they try eating something shortly after the surgery. Did you get all 4 out at the same time?

I did by my dentist and for some reason I was able to eat hard food the same day I got them all out without any pain. Hope you feel better though,

69BirdX 12-09-2008 06:40 AM

I was out a whole week and couldnt move my mouth at all. My bro was out at a party the night of the day he got it done. Hope you feel better

SRGN 12-09-2008 11:38 AM

I waited and had them pulled by a normal extraction. It didn't hurt that bad.

Feel better man, I had all 4 pulled last year right after Thanksgiving, then had to present an Accounting project the week after...not fun. I had soup for a couple of days and then started eating real food slowly and with the front of my mouth. As nick said, rinse with warm salt water a few times a day, it'll keep the areas clean as well as dissolve the stitches.

NJ Torque 12-09-2008 05:33 PM

Well, my dental ran out the end of this year so I wanted to get it done...

Kojak 12-09-2008 06:47 PM

I had all of mine pulled out like 2 months ago. Keep your mouth clan and try to keep any food particles out of the socket when the stitches come out. If you do get something in or around it use a syringe filled with water to squirt on it and it should come loose.

NjbadSS 12-09-2008 06:50 PM

I know how ****** that is, I had all 4 yanked at one time.. in Marine corps boot camp to.. that wasn't fun at all..and after leaving the room, having guys screaming at you making you do ****.. yaaaaaaaa so just think, your trip could have been much worse haha

enRo 12-09-2008 06:56 PM

My bottom 2 wisdom teeth are growing in pretty straight. Dentist recommended them getting yanked in the future.

emolineaux 12-09-2008 07:06 PM

lastcall190 12-09-2008 07:11 PM
