Hooker Headers-Comp or Super Comp

What is the difference between the Comptetion and SuperCompetition? I thinking about buying them soon, the going on a 02 ws6

Super Comps are a bit better flanges and tubing and some have larger primaries than the regular comps. Hooker headers are not too great.

Look into American Racing Headers or Kooks for the best fit and finish. Pacesetters if you just want something cheap, just be warned that they may not fit well, they are kind of hit or miss.

I disagree, we have never had a problem with Hooker headers. Always fit great, good quality, and affordable price. I run a set of 2210 super comps on my IROC and keep buying them every time I crash down and crush them.

Super comp headers are listed as being made of stronger and lighter material. Some sets are larger diameter tubing.

I know as a mod this doesn't add to the thread. but,,,,

Now how do you argue with that kinda of logic? I mean, shouldn't you be either buying the cheapest headers you can? Or maybe just STOP crashing down on them?

Easier said than done..

I have the 2210's on my IROC, the 1 3/4 primaries aren't a necessity with the stock 350 but they will benefit me when I can finally drop a new engine in. I got them because I didn't want to buy headers twice.
